Basics of Career Development
All that you need to know about career as a fresh graduate or graduate-to-be
A lot of us go through school with the notion of coming out to get a job, hence our definition of a career. While this may be okay and perfect for some persons, it doesn’t always hold true. A career is a journey, a series of steps on a particular ladder and not just something you do to take care of bills. It is something you delve into in the light of your purpose, your passion, your personality type, your obvious talents and gifts, etc. College degree comes last in this list.
A lot of students fail to understand this and because of our faulty educational system, we’re being prepared to seek a job and not to pursue a career. This is why Clarylife Global has been established. You’re not to make the same mistakes thousands are making while choosing a course to study or a job to settle with. You need to be better prepared for the realities outside the four walls of the university. Your dream life can only come true when you have a good understanding and perspective of how to position yourself and what to expect every step of the way.
What makes life interesting and pleasurable is doing what you love to do and having your livelihood from there. For life to be pleasant, liveliness and livelihood must be in a balance; value must generate revenue. However, it follows the law of cause and effect. What attracts wealth to a man in his endeavour is the love he has for it and the value he offers in it. Of course, if you lack passion for something, value won’t flow and if value doesn’t flow, revenue can’t come in any justifiable means.
So, the course of action is (1) Passion —– (2) Value —— (3) Revenue. If in your expectation and pursuit, you reverse this order, you’re calling for frustration. So, as a guide, this course has been created to prepare you for a successful career journey.
